Volunteer Trail Clean-ups

The Boise ATV Trail Riders Club (BATRC) and members of the Idaho State ATV Association are committed to helping the various state organizations maintain the existing trails so that everyone can enjoy them. During the late spring and early summer months, we combine many of our rides with a trail clean-up and sometimes a camp-out. See the Ride Photo Album or Ride Journals  for some photos of our trail clean-ups.

In 2008-9, the BATRC, then called the Idaho ATV Association, was able to buy an enclosed trailer to haul all the trail maintenance tools and to store out of the weather.  The Club received a grant from Yamaha for the trailer, and a grant from Idaho Department of Parks & Recreation for the tools, such as chain saws, chaps, helmets, gloves, rakes, shovels, Polaskis, etc.  Keep an eye out, you might see our trailer parked in a trailhead!

If you are interested in helping us maintain the trails, please feel free to join us. For more information, contact our Boise ATV Trail Rider’s President or e-mail at info@batrc.org.
