OBITUARY ~ George Silkworth

George SilkworthGeorge Silkworth, 92 years, passed away from natural causes Saturday afternoon, March 5.  His health had been failing in the last couple years and in the last couple of weeks, he had a hard time shaking off pneumonia. George and his wife, Sue, have been members of the Idaho ATV Association, now Boise ATV Trail Riders Club since the mid-nineties!

He started riding dirt bikes when he was a young boy living in upper New York. As an adult, he has ridden his dirt bike in Alaska, Canada, USA, Central and South America with his good friend, Ernie Lombard.  He was also a dirt bike representative on the Idaho Recreation Council.  He bought his first ATV when he joined our Club.  He loved the outdoors, camping, and always looked forward to riding his ATV until his eyesight waned several years ago.  He will be missed. Condolences to his family.

At the request of George, no services has been planned.
