It’s time to start blocking out days and weekends for this year’s rides, clean-ups and campouts! Over 60 rides have been planned for 2012–this list includes the annual clean-ups and campouts!
The ride leaders from the Boise, Canyon, Emmett and Mountain Home area Clubs have been busy entering over half of the scheduled rides in the Boise ATV Trail Riders Club (BATRC) website posted under the ATV Ride Center. The remainder of the rides will posted by the ride leaders after they have had time to work out all the details—so, be sure to check the ATV Ride Center often or the Ride & Event Calendar.
The completed scheduled rides have NOW been copied over to the Ride and Event Calendar and visible for your reading pleasure and planning. Remember, rides can be cancelled or postponed at the last minute due to weather, fire, ride leader’s schedule, etc. Make sure you CHECK the website and/or CALL the ride leader prior to the ride to make sure the ride is still going on as planned.
Remember, you have to be an active paid member of one of the area clubs and registered on the BATRC website to see all the scheduled rides and calendar. If you would like more information on how to join BATRC, see Meetings & Information or click here.
Thanks!
Thanks to Jim Maxey, BATRC Director for bringing all the club ride leaders together and building a master ride schedule. Also, thanks to all the ride leaders who volunteer their time in planning, leading and posting their rides on the BATRC website. Remember it takes extra time to plan and fuel to pre-ride the ride to insure an enjoyable event for all of us. Let them know how much you appreciate their efforts by thanking them personally and/or posting a comment on the website. These comments are helpful in planning future rides. Look for the comment box below each posted ride on the website.
Thanks too, to our webmaster Quinn, for developing an easier template for the ride leaders to enter their rides on the website. The finished ride post NOW has a nice clean look and easy to read…check it out!
