Lots of Fun, Food and Laughs!
Another successful Boise ATV Trail Riders Club (BATRC) Christmas Dinner Party was held at Louie’s Pizza for our December meeting thanks to Linda C. for coordinating it!
Over 60 members were present with a couple of guests. Louie’s did an outstanding job, again, in keeping the salad, bread, Lasagna, Fettuccine, Spaghetti, and Pizza coming.
If you wanted more, members just asked…don’t think anyone went away hungry!
Our new President, Patrick S. introduced all the officers and directors. He thanked them for volunteering!
The Elephant Gift Exchange was fun and filled with laughter! For those who wanted to participate, each brought a gift with a value more than $10. Some great gifts were given!
As usual, there were gifts that didn’t stay with one person very long…and the third person got to keep it! There were flash lights of various colors, certificates, stuffed animals, remote ATVs, lotions and potions, Christmas decor and chocolates, tool kits, and lots of wine to name a few.
One of the biggest hits of the night was a casserole baking dish with a red insulated carrying case! Sona B. was the first to have it, but soon was “snatched.” The glass dish was etched with our BATRC logo created by one of our members…thanks to the Blakes…an awesome gift!
At the end of the evening, there was a drawing for a basket of goodies that was donated by the BATR Club. Wendy was our winner! Also, before departing, everyone received a small bag of Christmas treats! Thanks to Mike and Yvette P. for preparing these gifts.
Close to 500 photos were taken between Patrick and Pauline…way too many to post all on the website. Be sure to check out the Ride Photo Album for some of the photos. By the way, there were some great photos taken of each couple. We are planning to show some of these photos at our January meeting…be sure to come to the meeting…who knows, you just might want a copy or two!
Happy New Year to all…see you out on the trail!
