Doug D cooking for our 2013 Picnic in the Park!
On Tuesday, September 17, 2013, we met at Tully Park, Meridian for our September Boise ATV Trail Riders monthly meeting. Family and friends were invited! We had fifty members come with their delicious side dishes! Doug D was our head chef and he, and his helpers Max L and Jim M did an outstanding job cooking. Thanks also, to Doug’s employer, Kenworth Trucking, for donating the hamburgers and hot dogs.
We have had excellent weather up to Tuesday evening when our picnic was cut short due to weather. Around 6:30 pm the wind started to come up and dropped the temperature quickly; however, we managed to enjoy our picnic and all the good food. Around 7:30 pm, the wind became stronger and members scrambled to clean up before everything was blown away. Thanks everyone for your help.
See you Tuesday, October 15 back at our normal meeting place at Idaho Pizza Co, Meridian.

Even though the evening was cut short, all had a nice time and the food was great. Thanks again for coming!
