This CALL to ACTION is an effort to repeal the law allowing fish & game to qualify an ATV as a means of take for hunting purposes.
The House Bill numbers are: 1015 and 1016.

Yesterday the legislation we have had prepared in cooperation with Senator Corder was introduced in the Idaho House. We now need to push for a hearing on these bills. Attached is a letter sent today to the respective committee chairs requesting a hearing. We are asking that each local chapter send a similar request as well. Please also encourage your individual members to contact their legislators on this issue as well.

Senator Corder said there may be a little resistance by some committee members to have a joint hearing to debate this in public. Especially by Representative John Stevenson which is the Chairman of the House Resource Committee.
Here’s what we need to do right now:
Get this email with both attachments out to every single person that supports or may support us on this bill.
In your own words, simply state there is legislation forthcoming concerning ATV use and hunters. You support and would like to have a public “JOINT” hearing with the House & Senate Committees, so it can be properly heard.
