On August 22, 2013, at the age of 67, Bonnie LaRene McBrayer, our beloved wife, mother, and grandmother went home to her Heavenly Father.  She was surrounded by her family and friends after a long and valiant fight with cancer.  Bonnie is survived by her husband, Patrick McBrayer; step-daughter, Lori McBrayer; sons, Scott (Lori) Jeffs, Chris (Kemdra) Jeffs, Jason (Cateena) Jeffs, Jeremy (Crystal) Jeffs, and Troy (Arin) Jeffs; grandchildren: Chantal (Matt) Rodriquez, Marissa (Kevin) Lundergan, Karenna Jeffs, Devin Jeffs, Zachariah Corum, Nicholas Jeffs, Cam,eron Jeffs, Jordon Batt, Stockton Jeffs, Logan Jeffs; and her five siblings: Donny, Larry, Dennis, Denise and Rick.

Bonnie was born in the Naval Hospital in San Diego, California October 20, 1945, to her parents Violet and Delbert Olsen.  She moved to Utah when she was a baby where she grew up, married, and raised her five children.  She later moved to California, met the love of her life, Patrick McBrayer and lived in Huntington Beach, California.  When Bonnie and Patrick retired, they moved to the Treasure Valley in Idaho to be near her sons and their families.  Bonnie will be remembered for her love of family, sense of humor, passion for life and adventure.  She loved to ride her Harley Davidson (three-wheeled red one) and ATV.  She also loved camping and traveling throughout the United States.  Bonnie will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.

Funeral Service – Wednesday, August 28

Service for Bonnie will be Wednesday, August 28 at 11:00 a.m. at the LDS Chapel, 190 So Locust Grove, Meridian (corner of Franklin and Locust Grove).  Interment will follow at The Idaho State Veterans Cemetery.
