ATV Training
The Boise ATV Trail Riders are partners with the Idaho Parks & Recreation Department (IDPR) in providing ATV training for all ages. This is a “no cost” class and size is limited and scheduled depending on volunteer’s available time, weather, etc. However, if we are unable to provide the training when you need it, we will submit your name(s) to IDPR to be included in their next training day. Or, you can contact IDPR directly and sign up.
The class size is limited to eight to ten people depending on level of experience. Each attendee will need to have their own ATV to drive. Children need to have their parents attend the class and approve their participation. Additionally, ATVs need to be sized correctly for the child. All class members need to wear appropriate ATV clothing, such as: boots, long-sleeved shirt or jacket (depending on weather), long pants, gloves, goggles, and helmet.
ATV Training Request Form
Use the following ATV Training Request Form to place your name on the list for a possible class. One of our trainers will be in contact with you about the dates and to discuss the attendee’s level of ATV experience. If you are unable to attend, your name(s) can be placed on the next session. If you have any questions, please contact us.
