Members of the Boise ATV Trail Riders Club met at Tully Park in Meridian for their September meeting.

Linda C, our secretary making homemade ice cream at our September “Picnic in the Park” meeting, 2012.

About 40 members attended. Lots of good food and home-made ice cream…yum, yum.  The Club furnished the chicken and a cake!

Couple of guest speakers, Ben Blessing, coordinator Idaho Mountain Trail Ultra Festival Run, thanked us for helping him on his last race and would like assistance with his 100 mile run above Burgdorf.  Members are to contact Rich Harris and Jay Hastings from the Canyon County Club if you would like to assist on the weekend of October 7.  Kyle Young, an Eagle Scout announced his Eagle Troop project of cleaning up Delmar Cemetery at Silver City on Saturday, October 13.  The fence needs repaired and replaced; and Delmar Mines will be donating all fencing material.  The Eagle Troop will provide lunch for all the volunteers and water. Bill Jones is taking the lead in coordinating volunteers.  Please contact Bill if you would like to help.  More details on where to meet will be posted soon.

Thanks to Bonnie and Carl R for coordinating the picnic.  It was a nice “get-together” and the weather was perfect!  Scroll down to bottom of the page to see the “Picnic in the Park” photos!

What do we bring?

Members are asked to bring a side dish such as a salad, casserole, fruit or veggie tray, etc.  Also bring your lawn chair and favorite liquid refreshment…yes, you can bring beer or wine, but they CANNOT BE IN GLASS BOTTLES!  Please bring your eating utensils (plate & silverware) too.

Meeting Agenda

We will have a very SHORT business meeting with a group discussion on ATV related topics.  So if you have any questions that you have always wanted to ask about your ATV, trailer, GPS, now is the time to send them in.  Please send your questions to Pauline Jones at [email protected] before Monday, September 17.  Yes, we will have our usual raffle…so bring your dollars!

Coming to the Picnic?  R.S.V.P. Before Monday, September 17!

We need a head count on who is coming to make sure we have enough chicken. We have had picnics in previous years and they have been lots of fun!  Hope to see you there.
